These Terms of Service apply to all purchases made through the Lux Vik online store.

Lux Vik is an online retailer that may fulfil orders through third-party suppliers and fulfilment partners.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms of Service.

 

2. Placing an Order

By clicking “Buy Now”, “Place Order”, or another button clearly indicating an obligation to pay, you are submitting a binding order to purchase the selected products.

Your order is subject to payment confirmation and product availability.

After placing an order, we will send you an order confirmation by email containing the relevant order details.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a genuine issue such as a pricing error, suspected fraudulent activity, product unavailability, or an inability to fulfil the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, you will receive a full refund.

 

3. Prices and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are shown in the currency indicated at checkout.

The total price payable, including any applicable taxes and delivery charges, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Where UK VAT is applicable, it will be handled in accordance with applicable UK tax rules.

Payments made in a currency other than the currency charged by your payment provider may be subject to exchange-rate differences or fees imposed by your bank or payment provider.

 

4. Shipping and Delivery

We offer international shipping to selected destinations.

For orders delivered to the United Kingdom, estimated delivery times are generally 5–25 business days, unless otherwise stated on the relevant product or shipping information page.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control, including customs processing, carrier delays, weather conditions, public holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

We will provide available tracking information where applicable.

Where applicable, any customs duties, import charges or other taxes that are legally payable by the customer will be communicated as clearly as reasonably possible before purchase.

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you may have regarding delivery.

Under UK consumer law, goods should generally be delivered without undue delay and, unless a different period has been agreed with the customer, no later than 30 days after the contract is entered into.

 

5. Right to Cancel

If you are a consumer purchasing from the United Kingdom, you generally have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

The returned product should be sent back within the applicable cancellation period.

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.

Where required by law, we may reduce the refund amount to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the goods.

Certain products may be excluded from the statutory cancellation right where an applicable legal exception applies, including certain personalised, sealed or hygiene-sensitive products once opened.

Nothing in this section affects any mandatory consumer rights available to you under UK law.

 

6. Refunds

Where you validly cancel an order under your statutory cancellation rights, we will process the applicable refund in accordance with UK consumer law.

Where required, refunds will include the cost of standard delivery paid by the customer. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we are generally only required to refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option available.

We may withhold a refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided appropriate evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed with you.

 

7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law.

If a product is faulty, damaged, materially different from its description, or the wrong product was supplied, please contact us at contact@luxvik.com as soon as reasonably possible.

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

We do not exclude or restrict liability where doing so would be unlawful.

 

8. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications and prices displayed on our website are accurate.

However, minor variations in colour, appearance, packaging or presentation may occur, particularly where products are supplied by third-party manufacturers.

Such minor variations do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

 

9. Retention of Title

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ownership of goods remains with Lux Vik until full payment for the relevant order has been received.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, defective products where liability cannot legally be excluded, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Subject to the above, Lux Vik will only be responsible for losses that are reasonably foreseeable and arise directly from our breach of these Terms or from our failure to comply with our legal obligations.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

 

11. Third-Party Suppliers

Some products may be sourced and fulfilled through third-party suppliers and fulfilment partners.

These suppliers may be responsible for manufacturing, packaging or shipping certain products.

However, the use of third-party suppliers does not remove or limit any statutory rights or protections you have against Lux Vik as the retailer.

 

12. Data Protection

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content displayed on the Lux Vik website, including logos, branding, text, graphics, images and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Lux Vik and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, services, legal requirements or applicable regulations.

The version of the Terms applicable to your purchase will be the version in effect at the time your order is placed.

 

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Kingdom.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive consumers of any mandatory rights or protections available to them under the laws that apply to their consumer contract.
